By using Bill of Sale Generator (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. Please read them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Bill of Sale Generator is a free, self-service tool that helps you generate a bill of sale and provides general informational content about bill-of-sale and vehicle-transfer requirements. We are not a law firm, we are not your attorney, and we do not provide legal advice. Using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. See our Legal Disclaimer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

3. Your responsibility for documents

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of any document you create and for how you use it. Requirements vary by state and change over time. You must verify the requirements for your situation with your state's DMV or the official source before relying on a document. We do not guarantee that any document will be accepted by any government agency or be suitable for your purpose.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• Do not use it to facilitate any illegal transaction, including transfers prohibited by law.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.

5. Free and premium features

Creating, previewing, copying, printing, and downloading a text version of your document are free. The optional premium upgrade ($4.99, one-time) unlocks a professionally formatted PDF and an editable Word file for the document you create. The premium upgrade is a single payment — not a subscription — and grants you a personal license to use the generated file.

6. Payments and refunds

Premium payments are processed by Razorpay. Because the premium upgrade delivers a digital file instantly, it is generally non-refundable once the file has been downloaded. If you were charged but could not access your download, contact guptaaryan583@gmail.com and we will resolve it.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, code, and original content, is owned by Bill of Sale Generator and protected by applicable law. The documents you generate are yours to use. You may not scrape, copy, or republish our site content in bulk without permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or any document will be error-free, current, or accepted by any third party.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bill of Sale Generator and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any document created with it. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the preceding 12 months.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Razorpay (payments), Netlify (hosting), and optionally Google Analytics (with your consent). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms and policies.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
